We purchased this scooter for our daughter's 9th birthday. As she was new to two-wheeled scooters, we wanted something well-made that would last her several years.
We're already fans of Micro scooters. Our 5½-year-old still rides a Micro we originally bought for our 9-year-old when she was just 2 years old. That scooter has now served two children and is still functioning perfectly—a testament to their durability and quality.
This Micro Speed scooter proved perfect for our 9-year-old. It offers a smooth ride, feels super sturdy without being too heavy, and we particularly appreciate the kickstand. The mint green color is also a lovely touch.
This is our second MICRO deluxe model. She also received the junior MICRO a few years ago. Fantastic products. Very well built and can handle any punishment. She absolutely loves the pink colour. Je vais bientôt fêter mes 10 ans de trott Micro Flex 200 mm ! Explorations urbaines, déplacements travail, glisses littorales en vacances, contemplations zen ou longs parcours plus sportifs... Elle a pris des autobus, des métros, des vélos (!), des trains, des traversiers et des bateaux, des avions. On en a 2 à la maison (même modèle) et j'en achèterai probablement une 3e bientôt, pour la visite. Après 10 ans, aucune usure, j'ai acheté de nouvelles roues pour les changer de temps en temps, mais elles ne présentent aucun signe d'usure suspecte (je fais environ 600 kms/an, sur routes défoncées du Qc). De temps en temps et avant l'hiver, je la démonte et en fais l'entretien (nettoyage, graisse). C'est l'occasion de constater à quel point ses parties sont robustes et bien pensées. C'est une merveille, qui fait partie de mon quotidien et dont il est hors de question de se départir. Tellement dommage qu'on ne puisse pas s'en servir l'hiver, sur la glace et la neige...
